I was born in Verres, Aosta Valley and snowboarding was my biggest passion since ’94.
What started as a sport became my job, then turning pro and later on an instructor. In 1997 I started riding MTBs to fill my summers. Seeing how much potential the Valley has and getting to know more mountain bikers and trails, summer gradually became as important as winter. Funny how things go.. I’m lucky to have started AVF with my close snow friends and created jobs to keep the common dream alive. I love these mountains and get amped whenever we discover new trails to ride.
Riding bikes has shaped my life and brought me to live in this wonderful place. I was born in Germany and I’m half Italian on my mothers side. I started racing bikes at an early in Quito, Ecuador. I did my thing in the World Cup DH and traveling to races around the globe gave me the chance to ride in some unreal places, but it also made me feel like a bike bum sometimes. That’s why I want to ride more local. Aosta is awesome. I’m blessed to live out my passion and even call it work.
Hi everybody! I’m Born and raised in Aosta Valley, I have been an avid biker since I was a child, and a mountain bike guide since 1997. I have explored and ridden most of the paths of this region, and published a book on mountain bike trails in Aosta Valley.
Being a sports and nature addict, I love riding the single tracks of this amazing place and I can’t wait to share my passion with you!
Hello folks, I am photographer, skier, bike rider, but before all I’m a mountain lover and I’m a very lucky to live in a place like Aosta Valley! I’m always determined to get out riding and spending time in wild nature. I take pictures of Aosta valley freeride since years and I’m really proud to be part of group. You can check part of my portfolio here: www.lucabenedet.com. Sorry, I cannot stand sitting in front of my monitor anymore, it makes me feel sick…
Hi guys, I’m Davide but everybody knows me as Zac. I was born in Turin and raised in Aosta. I do many outdoor activities: I’m a mountain bike guide, a snowboarder, a surfer and paraglide rider. I love ride all the elements!
I am originally from Scotland but live in the Aosta Valley with my family. I am a professional MTB Trail Builder and have been a guide since 2010, so mountain biking is a career as well as my passion. I’m lucky to have worked all over Europe, as well as Canada, but have never found somewhere as good as the Aosta Valley to both live and ride!
I was born and raised in Aosta, where I started riding bikes very young. I raced MTB downhill for 12 years and had the chance to travel and visit many places, but…home is where your heart is, and mine is between my mountains in Aosta Valley. I love mountain life in every shade and try to spend as much time as I can into the wild life of my mountains.
Ciao, I’m Nehuen (I swear that I’m Italian). I was born in Aosta in 1996 and I live in Cogne. I grew up practising cross-country ski and MTB til I decided to infuse those emotions that only riding could spread. Finally, I have now the opportunity to do it with the AVF squad!
I was born in Aosta in 1995 and up to 2018 I’ve raced in Cross Country representing Italy at the world champs and the world cups: My best result was a 2nd place at the 2013 World Championship Junior category in South Africa. Now my focus is to share my knwoledge. You can find me in Aosta Valleys mountains both biking in summer and skis in winter! Having 365 days of activities allows me to be trained and have a good knowledge of my environment.
