An unforgettable journey
from Matterhorn to Mont Blanc

ITINERARY

DAY 1
Arrival in Aosta, transfer by shuttle to Val d’Ayas, group welcome and briefing on the tour program from your guide.
DAY 2 - La gran becca

The journey begins! From Valtournenche we use the cable car to take us up to the mountains and pedal towards Cervinia. The batteries will be put to the test by the steep climbs to reach the foot of the Matterhorn within reach of the glaciers. After lunch and a quick battery top-up charge, we will ride on ancient trails to Torgnon where we will spend the night.

Altitude gain: 1,000m.
Descent: 2,000 m.

DAY 3 - ride to aosta

Today we will start the day pedalling towards the Col San Pantaleone and then continue in the central valley, descending forgotten paths that link small villages and will eventually lead us to Aosta. Before we get there though we still have a climb and a memorable descent to the Quart castle. Once in Aosta, a walk through the Roman walls with a homemade ice cream is a must.

Altitude gain: 900m.
Descent: 1,300 m.

DAY 4 - from north to south

Transfer by shuttle to up Pila from where we will ascend out of the resort before starting a long descent to reach the valley floor at Aymavilles. From there we will ride up to lunch. In the afternoon we will continue the climb through woods and high pastures to arrive at the hotel for some well-deserved relaxation.

Altitude gain: 1,000m.
Descent: 1,500 m.

DAY 5 - The long traverse

Double wow panorama, is today’s motto!. The view of the Grivola and the Gran Paradiso area is breathtaking. We will ride a variety of 4×4 track and single track to a col, where a 5-star descent will take us to a charming hotel at an altitude of 1,800 m. where we will spend the night.

Altitude gain: 950m.
Descent: 950 m.

DAY 6 - mont blanc vibes

The day will start downhill on a stunning trail that will take us all the way to the valley floor. The shuttle will then take us into the valley of La Thuile, saving a bit of battery power. From there, we’ll set off again, knowing that the view of her majesty the Mont Blanc awaits us in all its grandeur! From the col, following trails alongside streams and glaciers, we will descend to Courmayeur for a well-deserved beer at the end of our tour. Transfer with the shuttle to Aosta and to spend the evening as you please.

Altitude gain: 1,200m.
Descent: 2,000 m.

DAY 7

Free morning in Aosta for a last coffee before departure.
